What information we collect

Your personal information: As part of the user registration process you will be asked to submit some personal information about yourself, including your name, email address, location and age. The purposes for which we use that information are set out in this Privacy Policy.
Your IP address: When you visit our site, we will collect your IP address, which is a unique Internet address given to your machine or network. This is automatically logged by our servers and we use it to note your interest in the site, for statistical purposes, to identify which site you have come from, and also to be able to demonstrate if any actions on the site have been initiated from your machine. Your IP address alone is usually not enough to allow us to identify you, unless you are a registered user of the site, in which case we may be able to associate your IP address with the personal details about you that we retain on our servers.
Your use of the site and communications: We may, through our servers, collect and keep information about the pages on the site that you visit. We also keep a record of emails and other communications that we send to you and that you may send to us.

Use of Cookies

We make use of "cookies", which are small amounts of data which we send to your machine on the basis of the information we collect about your visit(s). This helps us to recognise you (if you have told us who you are) and to keep track of your preferences, etc. Cookies are stored locally on your machine and can be retrieved by this site.
We employ two kinds of cookies: "session" cookies (they are deleted from your machine when you leave the site and are used purely to help you to navigate around the site), and "permanent" cookies (these remain on your machine so that the site can recognise you when you return).
Most web browsers can be set to prevent you from receiving new cookies, to notify you before accepting cookies or to disable cookies altogether. Details about this can normally be found in your browser. If you disable cookies, you may not be able to use all features of this site.
